Priority areas for Kent

The Child Health Profiles and the Children and Young People's Health Benchmarking Tool published by Public Health England allow the comparison of the health and wellbeing status of children and young people in Kent as a whole and at district and CCG level with England. The outcomes where Kent performs worse than other areas indicate where priority areas for action may be.

Summary outcome indicators for children and young people have been produced that show where Kent, Kent districts and CCGs are both significantly better, significantly worse or similar to England as a whole.

We have produced more in-depth analysis and summary briefings for some of the priority areas identified. This analysis particularly highlights trends and geographic areas where action may need to be taken.  The summary briefing documents provide further background and suggest potential options for local action to improve outcomes.

Analysis slides have been updated in December 2018. Further analysis and summary briefings will be added in the future.
